I’m Dr. Derreck Carter-House, founder of Carter-House Analytics LLC. I hold a Ph.D. in Microbial Genomics and currently work as a Staff Scientist in assay development and applied statistics. Over the past decade, I’ve built a career at the intersection of biology, data, and technology — designing experiments, building automated workflows, and applying advanced statistical models to solve complex problems.
What sets me apart is versatility: I’ve led projects ranging from next-generation sequencing workflows in biotech to predictive modeling of health and performance data. I’ve written reports for Congressman Mark Takano on veteran healthcare, developed race performance forecasts for marathoners, and used wearables like the Apple Watch and Oura Ring to uncover practical insights into sleep quality.
My mission is simple: to make data clear, useful, and actionable — whether for policymakers, athletes, businesses, or individuals.
